The Open-View Chef’s Kitchen

This family loves to cook, but their kitchen had two problems: no pantry, and no way to add powerful ventilation without blocking the open view to the dining and living rooms. We solved both. By reframing the garage wall, we created pantry storage just outside the kitchen without giving up an inch of living space. Then we installed a professional Wolf range with a retractable downdraft exhaust — serious ventilation that disappears into the counter when it’s not in use, keeping the sightlines completely open. New framing, electrical, and HVAC behind the scenes, plus a beautiful tile backsplash and hardwood floors matched seamlessly to the rest of the house, complete the transformation.
