About This Build

Sitting on a hillside with a clear view of the city, this Magnolia home had the location but not the layout. We remodeled both levels at once. Upstairs, the kitchen was rebuilt around the windows, with walnut cabinetry, a terracotta island, and brass fixtures, while the original hardwood was refinished to a natural tone. Downstairs, a dated basement became a full second living space with its own kitchenette, fluted island, new LVP flooring, and a cedar slat railing along the stairs. Three bathrooms were taken down to the studs and rebuilt with stacked tile, floating vanities, and brass throughout. The result is a home that finally lives up to its view.
